SPECIAL THANKS. I would like to thank Paul Watson for his sponsorship of several lead figure collections on this blog. Having decided to clear his spare/surplus figures, he generously forwarded them on with no other requirement than they deserved to be restored. I would also like to mention George S. Mills, who kindly furnished a quantity of plastic figures which allowed me to complete another five or six military units, serving in several collections.

TURKISH ARCHERS, FRENCH OFFICERS. AMERICAN DRIVERS, SPANISH HORSE

A mixed parcel today. Completed two Deetail Medieval archers for service in my Eastern army. Just added miliput to the trousers and created turbans.

My two battalions of French Marines have now got officers. These figures are converted musicians.

In my spares box were two broken Britains West Point cadets. No real point just restoring these but they had potential to serve as driver and orderly for my American Command car.

And my Spanish army c.1900 has gained another unit of Regulares cavalry (North African regulars).

    1. Thanks Ross. For your interest, just throwing dice for the Fictional Dominion campaign moves and scenarios. Unfortunately, Sault Ste Marie had to be evacuated when overwhelming American forces, including gunboats approached. No point fighting eight to one, the Canadians are consolidating in Sunbury. Something very powerful has arrived in Montreal but they are having problems transporting it over land. A large force has arrived from Detroit on the West side of Toronto, but the Americans have withdrawn from the east, consolidating at Kingston. The main American army is now encamped at Hawkesbury. Expect some action this day.

  2. Your archers are perfect Michael, they really look the part! The French officers are just right, hopefully leading their troops to victory! The cadets look right at home in their duties and the Regulares will be a formidable foe for any that dare to challenge them! Wonderful work as always, thank you for sharing them all with us!
