When Paul Watson sent me five pewter figures representing American GIs, decided they could be drafted into my small collection of Israeli military c.1970s. Here they are manning a field gun and mortar.
Primed and ready to be painted. The mortar is a Crescent model c.1960,
This spare plastic copy of an Airfix WW2 marine can also be drafted into my Israeli military police unit.
An excellent way to use empty-handed figures Michael! They look quite natural and correct as artillery servants and add greatly to your Israeli forces! Your paint jobs are perfect, and I really like the MP! Very well done!
ReplyDeleteThank you Brad. Getting figures that can be used as support elements is vital in 54mm. There is no great interest in the Israeli army in the UK but as I also have an insurgent force, albeit in a slightly smaller scale, it provides an alternative opposition for the gaming table. I also feel WW2 is something too large for me to fully comprehend and recreate.
