SPECIAL THANKS. I would like to thank Paul Watson for his sponsorship of several lead figure collections on this blog. Having decided to clear his spare/surplus figures, he generously forwarded them on with no other requirement than they deserved to be restored. I would also like to mention George S. Mills, who kindly furnished a quantity of plastic figures which greatly enhanced several collections.

THE ROYAL MARINES ARRIVE
Having only four marines in my collection, decided it was time to recruit a full battalion. Repairing old and broken W.Britains toy soldiers, these fellows are now ready to join the Royal Navy Landing Party.
Great pictures!
ReplyDeleteThanks MJT, it is nice to see these old castings now ready for the table.

ReplyDeleteThanks Tony, luckily I had some spare heads to complete the unit, the musician came from the previous delivery.

Fine figures, Michael!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mark, restoring these broken soldiers is a hobby in itself, so gaming with them is a bonus.

Lobsters and Tars, can't do without them, esp when they are so bright and shiny!
ReplyDeleteYes indeed Ross. I somewhat fear the next step is to have a gunboat.
